The presentation of the new BMW 5 series at the BMW Smorawiński dealership in Poznań
was not the only highlight of this event. It also featured a unique sculpture shaped according
to the project of the BMW Museum in Munich where in one of the rooms there are silver balls
going up and down. This kinetic sculpture creates three-dimensional shapes, and abstraction
becomes reality… More than 700 silver balls suspended over the ground form the contour of
the new limousine. It is a performance with balls in motion which are in harmony with each
other, each moving freely before reaching the right spot. The same rule was applied in
designing the new BMW 5 series. First, there is an idea which later takes shape. Then more
new ideas are analyzed and improved. A perfect shape is the final result
