An unusual event took place in the Modern Art Museum in Warsaw. For the first time in Poland, two extraordinary cars stood one by one, a historic Mercedes 300 SL "Gullwing" from the first production year (1954) and the newest SLS AMG which has just made its market debut. The 300 SL “Gullwing” displayed in photos is the property of a Polish collector. The model, produced in the first year after it was introduced, with the chassis number 99, is painted "strawberry red". The SLS AMG is a legend brought back to life. It ties in with the "Gullwing" and is characterized by an almost racing-car performance.
